Adobe has announced the 2023 versions of Photoshop and Premiere Elements, the streamlined versions of its immensely popular photo- and video-editing software. With Photoshop Elements 2023, you can now apply movement effects inspired by a variety of art styles to part of a photo or the entire image. Also new is the ability to add peek-through overlays that create the illusion of depth in any photo by framing the subject with a variety of natural and realistic overlays, such as flowers or leaves.

According to Adobe, the app size of Photoshop Elements 2023 has been significantly reduced and should launch significantly faster, with full M1 chip support. Adobe Sensei AI tech also simplifies the process of warping images for overlays and other creative applications. There is also a new search feature that allows Guided Edits to be looked up via popular keyword tags or familiar terms.

Premiere Elements 2023 also receives the same performance upgrades that Photoshop does, with faster installation and launch speeds alongside Apple M1 support. The ability to transform your clips with effects inspired by famous works of art and art styles is also new. Additionally, 100 audio tracks and brand-new slideshow templates have been added.
