ASUS is harnessing the power of the recently announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs for its new lineup of PRIME, TUF Gaming, and Republic of Gamers (ROG) graphics cards. Here's everything we know about the new GPUs, including what they look like, who they're for, and what level of performance we can expect.
PRIME
For the first time, we are seeing the ASUS PRIME graphics card which offers a strong foundation for your graphics. Triple-fan design with a sleek curvature makes the PRIME stand out amongst the crowd. It delivers consistent and efficient performance and leverages advanced cooling technologies to ensure the graphics card remains cool even under heavy loads.
The PRIME is available in various configurations including the 5070 with 12GB of VRAM, 5070 Ti with 16GB, and 5080 with 16GB. Each one offers scalable performance with additional Overclock (OC) editions also available of each tier. This enables users to squeeze even more performance out of their cards without making any adjustments.
TUF GAMING
Gaming enthusiasts who wish to dive into their favorite titles with NVIDIA's latest technologies will find the TUF GAMING to be the go-to card. Not only does it offer a rugged design inspired by military-grade iconography, but it also provides great reliability for gamers! It also leverages a triple-fan design and enhanced cooling features, making it a great card for those looking for hours of gameplay.
The TUF GAMING models come in a variety of tiers similar to the PRIME with options including the 5070, 5070 Ti, and 5080. ASUS also offers the 5090-tier equipped with 32GB of dedicated VRAM for even greater performance. Each tier also comes with an OC variant.
ROG
Extreme gaming enthusiasts can leverage immense power with a form factor that is unrivaled. The ROG lineup of ASUS graphics cards not only feature unique designs, but come in various form factors designed to optimize performance while remaining aesthetically pleasing.
ROG comes in the Strix lineup which includes the RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti models in both standard and OC configurations. Where ASUS really flexes their design muscles is with the new ROG Astral editions. These come in the 5080 and 5090 tiers, complete with OC options and quad-fan design.
Where the game really changes is with the ROG Astral LC versions for the 5090 and the 5090 OC. This specific model is attached to a 360mm radiator equipped with three RGB enabled fans. This reduces the overall size of the 5090, bringing it down from a 3.8 slot size to a 2.5 slot size.
ASUS have been pioneers of GPU designs and performance, and it is no different here with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series cards! For more information about these cards or anything else coming down the line, stay tuned! Do you have your eye on any of these cards? Tell us below!
