First off, all of ASUS’s offerings come equipped with a 14th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-1400HX 24-Core processor, 32GB of 5600 MHz DDR5 memory, and a 2560 x 1600 resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and coverage for 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut. You can connect peripherals and accessories using the Thunderbolt™ 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI 2.1 ports, while the LED backlit display has a 240 Hz refresh rate, meaning that the image refreshes itself 240 times per second, helping to ensure smooth motion. Also featured is tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 720p webcam, and the Windows 11 Pro operating system.

Where the systems start to diverge from each other are with the GPU, storage, display, and RJ45 port. The G614JIR-XS96 has a 16" display with 500 nits of brightness, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The G814JIR-XS96 has the same configuration, except it upgrades the size of the display to 18" for more on-screen real estate.

For those with even greater graphical needs and network speeds, the G634JZR-XS96 offers NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics, a 16" display with 1100 nits of brightness and support for HDR, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port. While similar to the 16" model, the G834JYR-XS97 not only ups the display to 18", but features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
