Finding a 2-in-1 notebook that comes with all the bells and whistles can be a bit of a challenge. With usability and portability being the main focus, they often make sacrifices when it comes to performance. Enter the BOOK ONE. Let’s start with the keyboard, which has a VarioGear hinge for 360° adjustments and can also detach from the tablet display, which weighs 1.5 lb and is 0.3” thick. You can use the keyboard and tablet as a typical notebook for typing or flip the keyboard behind the system’s 13.3” display to watch videos at optimal viewing angles. With just the tablet, you can easily work or create while on-the-go. On the inside, the BOOK ONE is armed with a 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor, a large amount of 16GB LPDDR3 memory, and a generous 512GB SSD, which operates on PCIe lanes rather than SATA interfaces to deliver data faster. This is serious performance for a 2-in-1.

Moving back to the exterior, the BOOK ONE is equipped with a 13.3” IPS display for wide-viewing angles and accurate colors. The display is powered by an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 chipset, which is fine for viewing 4K visuals; but the available Thunderbolt 3 port on the tablet lets you connect an optional Thunderbolt 3 GPU enclosure—housing a dedicated graphics card—to run 3D games smoothly or edit videos in real time. The 13.3” touchscreen has a native resolution of 3200 x 1800, providing a PPI level of 276, and supports tapping, swiping, and other multi-touch gestures. But wait it doesn’t stop there—Porsche Design has included a BOOK ONE PEN that delivers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity as well as function and delete keys, so you can create digital masterpieces. Other notable features of the 13.3” display include Gorilla Glass 4 technology along with anti-fingerprint and anti-reflection coatings, allowing you to enjoy the display’s image quality for a long time.

Aside from its standard features such as 802.11ac Wi-Fi, microSD card reader, 5MP webcam, and Cortana-capable microphones, the BOOK ONE supports Windows Hello by including a built-in infrared camera. Furthermore, this Windows 10 Pro system lasts up to 14 hours, using a dual-battery setup that quickly charges in under two hours via a 60W USB Type-C power adapter.
