With the recent launch of the 24- and 48-port Aruba Instant On 1830 managed network switches, small-to-medium businesses have a budget-friendly means of quickly scaling their networks to support devices such as computers, storage drives, and servers. Featuring Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and powered by an 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 512MB of memory and 215MB of flash storage, these desktop or rack-mountable switches offer smooth and reliable data transfers. At the same time, the cloud-based management system allows you to configure, manage, and monitor your connected devices from almost anywhere using the mobile app.
The 24-port models are available with or without Power over Ethernet (PoE) support to operate devices such as IP security cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless network access points. They also include two Gigabit speed SFP ports for fiber uplinks. The 48-port model supports twice the number of devices and has four SFP ports. Aruba Instant On 1830 switches provide a variety of Layer 2 features without any additional licensing fees.
