For a fast, reliable Internet connection, you can plug an Ethernet cable directly into the 2.5 GbE LAN jack. You can also opt to connect via Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax). Whether you decide to go wired or wireless, the NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition makes checking emails, browsing the Web, and collaborating online fast and easy.
With two Thunderbolt™ 4 (with DisplayPort support) and two HDMI 2.1 ports, the NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition can output to four displays. While you can connect optional accessories (such as a keyboard and mouse) wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3, there are also three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and a USB-A 2.0 port if you prefer to use USB compatible peripherals. A 3.5 mm stereo audio jack in the front makes it easy to plug in a headset.
Thanks to its modest size and modern design, you can place the NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition on your desk without taking up too much space, while still looking good. Its aluminum chassis with honeycomb vents and smooth lid that sports the printed Intel® NUC logo fits right in at your home or the office. Intel® states that the NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition is qualified for 24/7 operation, producing a noise level of just 32 dbA while in use.
This barebones kit may only come with a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor, but it also features two SO-DIMM RAM slots, a M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4.0 slot, and a M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0 slot. You’ll be able to install your own preferred RAM, SSD, and OS. The barebones kit allows you to build the NUC 13 Pro Desk Edition exactly the way you want it.
