Today at CES, Lenovo announced a full lineup of more than 40 new devices and solutions powered by AI, furthering the brand's vision of "AI for All." The announcements cover new AI innovations across Lenovo's series of Yoga, ThinkBook, ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and Legion sub-brands, and more, to help make the computing experience more personal.
Devices that Supercharge the Creative Process with AI
Lenovo showcased its latest repertoire of new consumer devices, including Yoga AI laptops that supercharge the creative process, a tablet that invites users to play and learn, IdeaPad laptops for the everyday user, and peripherals for the modern world. The 16" Yoga Pro 9i and 14" Yoga 9i 2-in-1 are designed for creators and powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, a physical Lenovo AI Core chip, and long battery life. The 16" Yoga 9i also features Lenovo X Power, a tuning solution powered by machine learning that enhances creative tasks that include 3D rendering and film color correction by allocating processing power to optimize performance, battery life, and cooling efficiency. Both models also feature a Copilot key to provide faster access to Copilot in Windows 11.
Rounding out the Yoga family are several new laptops, which include the 14" Yoga Slim 7i, powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and a WUXGA OLED screen. Content creators will like the 14" Yoga Pro 7i and 14" Yoga Pro 7, which may be configured with Intel® Core™ Ultra or AMD Ryzen processors, as well as dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics and an optional OLED 3K display. The 13" Yoga Book 9i brings the "wow" factors with Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, a PureSight OLED 2.8K display, and a rotating Bowers & Wilkins soundbar, plus an array of creativity enhancing software. The final options, which are geared toward creators' quick, on-the-go access to tools that complement their creativity, are the 14 and 16" Yoga 7i 2-in-1.
Lenovo ThinkBook Laptops and ThinkCentre neo Desktops Inspire Productive and Creative Power
Designed for small and medium-sized businesses, the new ThinkBook and ThinkCentre products deliver innovative features, smart designs, and AI enhancements. The ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid is a flexible solution with a laptop base system and a tablet that can work independently or together by seamlessly switching between laptop and tablet mode. The ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 is not only carbon neutral, but is powered by Intel® Evo™, long battery life, and a Copilot key. Powerful, smart, and versatile, the ThinkBook 14 i Gen 6+ boasts a 14.5" 3K display and includes a Graphics Extension (TGX) port, which supports the new ThinkBook Graphics Extension dock that boosts AI computing power. The updated ThinkBook 16p Gen 5 combines power and elegance with support for the new Magic Bay Studio 4K camera and integrated speaker. Delivering a new generation of ultra-small form-factor AI PCs is the ThinkCentre neo Ultra, plus the ThinkCentre neo 50a Gen 5, which will be available with a 24 or 27" display.
Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE
This proof of concept device not only boasts powerful performance, but uses hardware and software algorithms, plus E Ink prism technology so users can customize the exterior cover in various patterns. This allows Lenovo to create a notebook with a unique exterior appearance and leads a trend of intelligent color personalization laptop covers. Up to 1,000 different images are supported and the color-changing top won't impact battery life. In fact, it can keep changing even when the system is powered off.
ThinkPad and IdeaPad Laptops Unlock New AI Experiences
Unlock new AI experiences and boost productivity, creativity, and efficiency with a range of new business laptops that include the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 2-in-1, and IdeaPad Pro 5i. Powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and Windows 11, these systems deliver power efficiency, performance, and immersive experiences, thanks to dedicated AI acceleration support that integrates with Copilot.
If you've ever dreamt of a glasses-free 3D experience, Lenovo's ThinkVision 27 3D monitor uses an enhanced version of 3D explorer to welcome creators to the 3D realm, but may also be used in 2D. The monitor includes increased software support through proprietary applications, including Design Engine, which eliminates the need for individual plug-ins to provide a true hybrid design experience, or use its 2D-to-3D converter that enables AI-powered 2D to 3D image, video and content conversion in real time.
The Lenovo Gaming Ecosystem
CES 2024 also saw Lenovo debut a new gaming ecosystem, with Windows 11-based systems, peripherals, software, and services that deliver on power, thermals, graphics, AI-powered advantages, and more. Lenovo's portfolio includes the 16" Legion 7i, 16" Legion 5i, and 16" Legion Slim 5, all of which can handle gaming and STEM apps. The 16" Legion 9i is geared toward gamers and content creators, while the 16" Legion Pro 7i and 16" Legion Pro 5i are made for gamers who need a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz and want the visual prowess of a 16" 2560 x 1600 IPS display that is Pantone certified and supports Dolby Vision. If you need more than a mobile setup can offer, the Legion Tower 7i and Legion Tower 5i provide the extra horsepower of a top-tier gaming system.
Also new this year are the Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9, Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9I, Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9, and Lenovo LOQ 15AHP9 laptops and Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRR9 for gamers beginning their journey up the leaderboards. New accessories, such as the Lenovo Legion M410 Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse and Legion K510 Pro Mini Keyboard, along with a new Lenovo AvatarMaster PC software app, round out the upgraded ecosystem.
At the center of this new gaming lineup is Lenovo's proprietary LA AI chips, which were introduced at CES 2023, but now allow users to achieve even higher frame rates, increase power efficiency, and more.
