Basing its design on the original gram 15, LG has refreshed its “gram” line of notebooks with the release of the gram 13, gram 14, and updated versions of the gram 15. As its name implies, the number behind “gram” denotes screen size: 13, 14, and 15.6". Each sporting the Intel® new 7th-generation Kaby Lake™ processors and DDR4 RAM, the grams are capable of more efficient multitasking and quicker access to your favorite files and programs. Instead of using traditional hard drives for storage, the grams are outfitted with solid-state drives that offer lower boot and loading times so you can spend more time getting things done and less time waiting around.
All models feature a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution on an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel. Together, you’ll be able to enjoy crisp and clear content with vivid color reproduction, even at wide viewing angles. The gram 13 and 15 both come in touch and non-touch varieties, while the gram 14 only offers a touch panel. There are plenty of other features, such as USB ports, a microSD card reader, and so on, but what makes a gram “a gram” is the focus on portability. Designed for the mobile user, each gram notebook weighs only a bit more than two pounds and measures less than 0.7" thick. That means you’ll be able to take one with you on-the-go easily in a backpack, carrying case, sleeve, or even by itself.
