Today, at the G PLAY event, Logitech G announced several new products designed for creatives and gaming enthusiasts looking to take their skills to the next level. Whether you are a live streamer, competitive gamer, or even a racing sim enjoyer, Logitech G has something for everyone.
Yeti 2
For the live streamers out there, the Blue Yeti returns after a long 17-year hiatus! The Yeti 2 takes the foundation set by its predecessor and improves upon it, giving you an even greater set of features! One such feature is an improved microphone structure that allows you to capture voices in a multitude of patterns including supercardioid, bidirectional, stereo, and more! Adjustable EQ settings are also built into the Yeti 2 with the option of using the free Logitech G HUB software for additional customization.
At the front of the Yeti 2 there are multiple operation elements that streamline your controls into something easier to manage. A touch-to-mute button, an LCD display, and control knob all work together to provide you with every option you’ll ever need! Various settings like the ones I previously discussed can be adjusted on the fly without the need for any software unless you want to create your own customized EQ effects, settings, and more.
Another improvement is the addition of a USB-C port in lieu of the old micro-USB port. There is also a 3.5mm audio combo jack that provides you with real-time feedback. Desktop audio also mixes with your voice, and you can easily balance these audio elements to your liking right on the mic itself.
Headsets
PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED Headset
Logitech G also announced its latest headset entry, the PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED! Using familiar technology found within the Yeti 2, the PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED provides broadcaster-quality audio in both the earcups and the detachable mic.
Usable right out of the box, the PRO X3 LIGHTSPEED offers three different connectivity options with LIGHTSPEED wireless (via USB adapter) and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless alongside the traditional wired 3.5mm option for those who want a more direct connection. If you stick to wireless, you get a maximum reach range up to 98 feet (30 meters), which is great for those moments you must get up and grab a drink between matches. In wireless mode, you get up to 70 hours of operation on a full charge.
This is another device that I was able to get my hands on, and I’ll tell you that the audio quality is amazing! Dual 50mm PRO-G Graphene drivers offer incredible sound with up to a 20 kHz frequency response, 38 ohms impedance, and a sensitivity of 87.8 db. This enhances audio across all connectivity types, which not only makes it a great gaming headset, but a fantastic device to listen to music, podcasts and everything between. A detachable omnidirectional microphone is also included, offering a wide 75 Hz to 20k Hz frequency response, ensuring clear vocals.
A50 X Gaming Headset
Astro is a legendary name within the gaming scene, and the A50 X LIGHTSPEED gaming headsets have been a stalwart companion for many. Providing rich sound, massive connectivity options, and a style that feels unique, the A50 X is still one of the best headsets out there that you could get. While nothing has changed under the hood, it does get a new paint job!
The Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED is now getting a new vivid Mars Red colorway. The mixture of darker and lighter reds complement each other, giving off a strong new appearance that really stands out! Everything you love from performance to comfort remain the same.
Mice
PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE Gaming Mouse
Coming off the heels of the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE LIGHTSPEED, Logitech G announced its follow-up, the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE competitive gaming mouse. This is a lighter, faster, and more accurate version of the fan-favorite PRO X2, taking your competitive gaming skills to the next level.
LIGHTSPEED wireless technology is built into the mouse, giving you true freedom of movement while retaining accuracy and speed. The HERO 2 sensor is back with even greater precision, offering up to 48,000 dpi and a max acceleration of 90G and max speed of 930 IPS. Fan favorite features make a return like rapid trigger, actuation point, and click haptics make a return. With the Logitech G HUB software, these can be adjusted to your liking.
Aside from other improvements, perhaps the best and most impactful one is runtime. While the previous model offered up to 90 operating hours, this new one gives you up to 135 hours while in constant motion! That is a massive improvement in performance and handling.
Otherwise, the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE LIGHTSPEED maintains the similar shape as the previous model, giving you plenty of access to the click buttons as well as the two side modification buttons. These can all be customized within the G HUB software.
G502 X Series
There are two mice coming into the famous G5 series, the G502 X Plus and G502 X LIGHTSPEED. If you loved the G502 HERO, then you’ll love these! They both offer a ton of utility while embracing the aesthetics of the G512 X keyboard and the G522 LIGHTSPEED wireless headset.
Both mice feature similar sets of hardware including the HERO 44K sensor for greater speed and precision, LIGHTFORCE hybrid mechanical switches to provide enhanced durability and a tactile feel, a Hyperfast scroll wheel that has four-way operation, a dpi switch button, and a whole lot more!
There are a few differences found in the aesthetics department. The G502 X LIGHTSPEED is designed for competitive play, so the overall design borrows a lot from the core design philosophy of its lineage, removing some of the more colorful accenting and RGB colorization for a longer lasting battery intended for prolonged competitive gaming sessions. The G502 X Plus has the colorful accenting along with customizable RGB.
PRO X CONTROL Mousepad
With a pro-level mouse, you might want a pro-level mousepad to go with it: specifically, the Logitech G PRO X CONTROL mousepad. Bult for esports and designed for excellence, the PRO X CONTROL features a pro-optimized large surface to provide ample space for players looking for wide freedom of movement. A subsurface stitched edge provides snag- and fray-free performance, allowing you to game not just for hours, but with peace of mind.
The top surface is derived from knitted cloth and ensures fluid motion across the entire pad while a thin SlimFlex foam adds comfort, essential for long play sessions. Meanwhile, the non-slip foundation keeps the PRO X CONTROL stable during intense movements and fast-paced moments.
Keyboards
PRO X2 RAPID Gaming Keyboard
Competitive gaming enthusiasts will greatly appreciate and benefit from the unique perspective Logitech G is aiming for with the PRO X2 RAPID gaming keyboard. It is your standard tenkeyless design, giving you all the core functions and features but with a unique twist: onboard programming.
Whether you play solely online or go out to in-person events, the PRO X2 RAPID allows you to save various profile settings to the keyboard. This way, once you plug it into another computer, you don’t lose any of the settings you previously saved. You don’t even need software to get yourself rolling either! A small OLED display shows you the various parameters as you adjust settings, giving you the ideal feel that is uniquely yours. Multiple profiles can be saved to the keyboard, allowing you to quickly switch between specific game settings.
Other features include onboard lighting profiles, key control, LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting, adjustable height, and more! You also get an included palm rest made from durable silicone which adds comfort, allowing you to play all day long.
G316 X Gaming Keyboard
Logitech G released its G316 X 98 a while ago and it is a wonderful keyboard designed for those who want game-ready performance and a clean aesthetic that stands out amongst the crowd. But, if you want something more compact, that is where the G316 X 75 comes in! Featuring a tenkeyless design, you get all the essential keys, all the control options, and the same comfortable feel you would otherwise get from the full-sized variant, but in a compact size.
Coming in black or white theming with either linear or tactile switches, the G316 X lays the foundation, allowing you to expand upon the build to your liking. Swappable switches allow you to swap out keys in the event of failure or just because you prefer the feel of something else.
An intuitive onboard control knob and dot-matrix LED display allows you to control various aspects of your system and can be programmed to fit your personal needs. Volume, brightness, and more can be adjusted with a simple twist. The G316 X also has an 8 kHz report rate to ensure every key press is accurate and precise, lowering latency and lag.
Racing
G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals
For those who are just diving into the world of PC racing, Logitech G announces its latest iteration of a fan favorite: the G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals for PC. This bundle includes a solid base with attached wheel as well as an included set of pedals with gas, brake, and clutch. Using TRUEFORCE technology, the G923 wheel portion provides a realistic experience suitable for a wide range of titles like Forza Horizon, The Crew Motorfest, Assetto Corsa, and a whole lot more!
While this is similar to the wheel available for Xbox and PlayStation, this one is specifically made with PC players in mind. You still get all the benefits of those two variations including the dual-clutch launch control dial, closed-loop motor control, built-in rev indicator, on-wheel game controls, and so much more!
As an owner of the G29 Driving Force racing wheel and primarily uses it on PC, this is a great alternative for folks who really want the authentic feel without having to make sense of various glyphs and numbering nomenclatures often found when you bring a racing wheel to some games that can’t translate the buttons properly. The new G923 for PC alleviates that whole issue, simplifying the entire process so you can get into your favorite racers without messing around with your settings.
RS50 Steering Wheel System
PC Racing enthusiasts rejoice as Logitech G introduces their latest entry in the world of racing sims with the RS50 System! This bundle includes the RS50 Base, RS Wheel Hub, RS Round Wheel, and the RS50 Table Clamp, giving you the foundation needed to get your dream racing setup started!
The RS50 Wheel Base uses a new direct drive motor to enhance Direct Drive precision and offers TRUEFORCE realism, immersing you further in your favorite racing games. Instead of relying on belts and gears to transmit force, the RS50 Wheel Base provides feedback straight to the wheel, giving you that sense of realism backed by balanced torque that gives the RS50 the precision and responsiveness you need to turn pro!
Enhancing the overall versatility of the RS50 system is the RS Wheel Hub which allows you to remove the current wheel for something that might feel more akin to the game you are playing. If you’re looking for something more personalized like the MOMO x Logitech G Steering Wheels or perhaps mostly track racing in mind, then you can swap one wheel out for another and optimize your experience.
Finally, the RS50 System includes the RS Round Wheel, which is a great all-around control solution that reduces button bloat while giving you a ton of other useful options. Buttons are accurately depicted with ABXY glyphs, a joystick, two paddles, and two knobs, giving you a realistic feel while retaining a sense of accuracy. LIGHTSYNC RPM LEDs are also built into the wheel, giving you various notifications that can be customized by using Logitech’s G HUB software.
The RS50 Steering Wheel System is for PC only and does not include pedals. Choosing to provide players with options, Logitech G is releasing the RS Pedals SE separately, so if you prefer to use a set you have, you can still do so. Otherwise, you should check out the next section.
RS Pedals SE
Flexibility, speed, and realism are some of the features racing sim fans look for, and the Logitech G RS Pedals SE really set the stage for a better racing experience. Designed with hall effect brake and gas pedals, the RS Pedals SE offers precision and reliability. The hall effect gas pedal simplifies your setup, giving you a realistic feel without the additional cost of a load cell brake or clutch pedal. You also get smooth control and performance with customizable settings so you can fine-tune your overall experience.
The RS Pedals SE is a modular system that allows you to make more choices in your setup that can be tailored to your liking. Manual racing enthusiasts can purchase a separate clutch module, or you can upgrade to a 75-kilogram load cell brake and transition the hall effect pedal into a clutch. Finally, you can optimize your setup the way you like it!
You can affix the wheel base and the pedals to various racing frames, but the pedal set features large, rubberized feet and carpet grippers to prevent slipping. The RS Pedals SE connect directly to PRO and RS50 base, Racing Adapter for G-Series wheels, or USB for PC, supporting cross-brand wheel setups.
RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle
If you want this entire setup with a specialty wheel and a fun theme, the RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle is there to provide you with everything you need in a singular package. You get the RS50 System with a distinct Papaya aesthetic that pays homage to McLaren Racing.
The RS Formula Wheel McLaren Racing Edition not only has the Papaya accent, but it fully resembles the steering wheel found in the famous MCL38.
All the features of the RS50 System are intact with very little changes to the overall performance. But a major change comes to the RS Pedals which includes the 75kg Load Cell Brake to enhance your braking and offer a more realistic experience.
