M3D Micro 3D Printer Prints in PLA or ABS Plastic

1Share

Print your own 3D models with precision with the M3D Micro 3D printer and its 50-micron-layer resolution. The Micro has one extruder and a ceramic heater system to print in PLA or ABS plastic. You can use the USB port on the Micro to print your STL and OBJ files. The self-leveling build plate and the micro-motion sensor clip allow for consistent results, thanks to the intelligent positioning feedback. The carbon fiber rods are of a sturdy yet lightweight design.

While the Micro supports PLA and ABS plastic filaments, it can also support other materials, such as nylon, professional, and chameleon. The 1.75mm filament spool fits in the hidden compartment, which can be accessed by popping out the print bed, located at the base of the Micro.

Available in five different colors (black, blue, green, orange, and white), the Micro allows you to match your workspace.

Caution when thinking of purchasing a Micro 3D printer.  Having owned one, I can attest to its faults.  Do your research, go to their forums and read the issues.  M3D company recommends you buy their filament which is priced higher than what you can buy elsewhere.  A finished print is not exactly what I'd call acceptable.

On the plus side, the printer is small and looks good.  It does make for a great paperweight.
