Pro-level performance meets mobility with HP’s ZBook Firefly 14 G9 and ZBook Firefly 16 G9 Mobile Workstations, which let users remain productive so they can manage and collaborate projects from virtually anywhere. Both systems feature 12th Gen Core i5 or i7 processors, 16GB or 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, and 1920 x 1200 IPS display. Meanwhile, compatible peripherals can be connected using dual 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, which support DisplayPort and Power Delivery, two 5 Gb/s USB Type-A ports, and one HDMI 2.0b port. Your network can be accessed using Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), and compatible wireless peripherals may be paired using Bluetooth 5.2 so you can save wired ports for more important devices. If you’d like to stay in touch with family and friends, or engage in work meetings, there is a user-facing 5MP webcam, dual 2W speakers, and dual mics.
Where these two systems differ largely is in the display and GPU. The ZBook Firefly 14 has a 14" display, while the ZBook Firefly 16 has a 16" display. Both lineups are available with multi-touch and non-touch options, but the Firefly 14 also lets users select a non-touch Sure View display that makes the screen unreadable when it is viewed from the side. The Firefly 14 and 16 are currently available with integrated Intel® Iris™ Xe graphics or an NVIDIA T550 graphics card for extra power. Rounding things out is a three-cell / 51Wh battery that can last for up to 13:15 hours (Firefly 14) or 12 hours (Firefly 16), which helps to ensure that you can work no matter where you are.
HP ZBook Firefly lineup has always afforded creative professionals the ability to have a portable, powerful system and the G9 updates things with 12th Gen Intel® processors for enhanced performance.
