Quickly and easily create your own RAID array with the Xcellon HDD-202 2-Bay Hard Drive Dock. This dock features two SATA I/II/III compatible drive bays that are designed support both 2.5” and 3.5” hard drives. After inserting the drives, the dedicated hardware RAID controller found on the back of the dock makes it easy to configure the drives to RAID 0, 1, JBOD, Span, or Port Multiplier. With RAID 0 users benefit from enhanced drive performance with no redundancy. RAID 1 offers mirrored redundancy. JBOD offers support for just -bunch-of-drives not RAID-configured. SPAN combines both drives to one large storage drive. Port Multiplier offers the ability connect multiple SATA devices to one SATA port. Once configured, users can connect the dock to Windows, Mac, or Linux-based computers to begin storing data in no time.
