The setup includes an X-Balanced center speaker for clearer dialogue, wireless front speakers, and immersive audio via up-firing drivers and Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping. Also great for music, the TRIO supports Spotify, Apple AirPlay, and Bluetooth streaming, as well as DSSE Ultimate restoration. Whether for music or movies, the TRIO can be calibrated to match your specific room, making every seat the best one in the house.
Cinematic Surround Sound
The TRIO includes left and right speakers to envelop you in sound, while a dedicated center speaker ensures dialogue is clear. In addition to supporting premium surround streaming formats, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the TRIO is IMAX Enhanced certified and offers 360 Spatial Sound Mapping. This technology creates up to 24 phantom speakers to recreate the sound characteristics of a cinema.
Sound Field Optimization
Whether music or movies, Sound Field Optimization works to calibrate audio to your room's specific acoustic attributes. It does this with the included USB-C calibration microphone that plugs into a smartphone. It measures frequency, phase, and delay, and then automatically adjusts the TRIO's settings accordingly.
Pair with BRAVIA
Gain additional features when pairing a TRIO with select BRAVIA TVs. It can use Voice Zoom 3 for clearer dialogue, and everything can be controlled by a single remote. You can also make sound setting changes on-screen.
Accessibility Details
Sony designed features to help those with visual impairments and to ensure it's accessible for everyone. A raised square frame guides users to a QR code for the BRAVIA Connect app. With it, users get full screen reader support and audible guidance for setup and control. There are also tactile markers on the rear to identify the locations of the eARC HDMI port.
