Introduce a punch of light to your scene with the powerful new Vortex8 Light from Creamsource. This 2 x 1' LED panel fixture is a 650W powerhouse rivaling the output of some 1200W HMI units while offering an array of hue, saturation, and intensity choices. Its 512 LEDs create an ultra-narrow 20˚ beam with a massive 14,000 lux output in daylight at 9.8' with CRI/TLCI ratings of 95.
Designed for pro cinematography, the Vortex8 can be bounced, diffused, or used with additional SPOT lenses.
Color selection choices include 2200 to 15000K, Plus/Minus Green, Hue/Saturation, XY, Gels, Direct RGBW, and Effects. Built with the new CreamOS 05 software, the Vortex8 enables you to map and control up to eight zones and features 0-100% dimming with a super-smooth lower end for precise control. For slow-motion capture, use the sync port to lock the light's output to your camera's shutter at speeds as high as 5000 fps.
Whatever your connectivity choice, the Vortex8 has you covered with LumenRadio TimoTwo, 5-pin DMX, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB Type-A options, and, of course, the Creamsource accessory port. Compatibility with a wide variety of third-party instruments lends the Vortex8 an array of both wired and wireless control options. Heat sinks and three variable-speed fans help to cool the Vortex8, and the fans feature a remote off function for when a quiet set is required.
Sealed to an IP rating of I65, the tough-as-nails Vortex8 stands up to unpleasant weather with waterproof seals at all connector entry points. Sleekly designed with both the power supply and antennae built into the unit, the Vortex8 requires no separate ballast. Mounting options include a quick release yoke and a total of eight 3/8"-16 threads.
The front of the unit incorporates dual rails for mounting filters, secondary lenses, or other accessories like the Creamsource Dome or Litepanels DoP Snapbag. The machined aluminum and technopolymer infusion Vortex8 comes with a diffusion panel, a removable yoke, and a powerCON TRUE power cable.
