ProGrade Digital just announced its latest series of external solid-state drives for photographers, videographers, and digital imaging technicians, the PG10 USB4 External SSD. Combining exceptionally fast read and write speeds with a compact and lightweight design, the PG10 offers professional-grade performance in a portable package that's intuitive and easy to carry.

Thanks to the PG10's USB4 interface, you get scalable performance with compatibility and support for Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and additional USB-C ports. That interface also helps facilitiate the PG10's maximum read and write speeds of up to 2500 MB/s, great for managing digital libraries across your devices. The drive also offers a sustained write speed up to 2000 MB/s, which is perfect for quickly moving larger files.

Built to sustain performance and promote a long-lasting lifespan, the PG10 employs a unique internal heatsink that prevents overheating and thermal throttling, essential for managing small and large batches of data. Refresh Pro ready status for Windows devices allows you to monitor the health of the drive, update firmware, and utilize additional options to maintain performance. The PG10 also features a built-in LED indicator that tells you when the drive is receiving the recommended 15W of power.

On the exterior, the PG10 features a patented magnetic base which pairs with the included metal plate, giving you a secure mounting option for your workstation. With the dedicated writable label area, you can easily identify the drive, keeping your equipment organized with industry-standard Avery labels. You also get a rugged carrying case for safe and secure traveling. Additionally, the PG10 and the carrying case have matching serial numbers, assisting with organization.

The PG10 comes in various formats and capacities with 2TB and 4TB variants. There are also two 8TB models, one dedicated for Windows and the other for Mac. A USB4 certified cable is also included for reliable data transfer.
