Sporting a six-core design consisting of two performance and four efficiency cores, you get a 30% boost over the previous generation. Graphically, the A17 Pro leverages a five-core GPU, delivering a 25% jump, giving you the capability to run advanced games with advanced technologies like ray tracing, Dynamic Caching, and hardware-accelerated mesh shading.

A 12MP wide back camera delivers vivid images with Smart HDR 4 technology, capturing bright and detailed images. The integrated 16-core Neural Engine uses artificial intelligence to automatically identify documents right in the Camera app and use True Tone flash to remove shadows from the document for a clear view of your essential paperwork. A 12MP Ultra Wide front-facing camera in portrait orientation supports Center Stage for your conference calls with coworkers, family, and friends.
For Apple Intelligence

Designed for Apple Intelligence, the power of the A17 Pro chip lays the groundwork, giving users access to a variety of smart features designed to streamline your productivity while remaining private. Private Cloud Compute offers the ability to flex and scale computational capacity between on-device processing and server-based models that operate exclusively on Apple silicon servers. This gives users improved Writing Tools, which assist with refining your vocabulary as well as provide rewriting, proofreading, and text summarization in nearly everywhere you write including Mail, Notes, Pages, and more.
Siri also gets an improvement with richer language-understanding capabilities, making the Siri experience more fluid and natural. Siri can follow along when you stumble over words, maintain context from one request to the next, and even type requests. Additionally, Siri can answer questions about features on the iPad and other Apple devices thanks to the built-in extensive product knowledge.

Apple Intelligence also enables improvements in the Photos app and Memories feature as well as a Clean Up tool that identifies and removes distracting objects in the background of photos. In the future, Apple Intelligence will enable users to explore unique tools like Image Playground, Image Wand, and Genmoji.
Please note that Apple Intelligence is not available until the iOS 18.1 update.
Coming soon, the new iPad mini features all-day battery life and has a new baseline storage capacity of 128GB. It also comes in four different colors: blue, purple, starlight, and space gray.
