For those looking to save their captures with added scalability, Anglebird offers their latest CFexpress 4.0 Type A cards along with a series of card readers that can be easily packed and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
AV PRO CFexpress Type A Cards
With up to 8K+ raw cinematic grade video and extended burst photography, the CFexpress 4.0 Type A card offers ultra-high-speed performance for a wide range of compatible Sony cameras. With consistent read and write speeds, you can ensure that your media isn’t just stored properly but can be recalled quickly when used with various card readers thanks to Angelbird’s Stable Stream technology.
Additionally, the CFexpress 4.0 Type A card offers advanced thermal management, protecting the card from overheating. These cards also offer minimal power draw, keeping your camera battery alive as long as possible. Angelbird offers three capacities (256GB, 512GB, and 1TB), allowing you to pick and choose the best solution for your workloads.
Card Reader PKT
Also announced by Angelbird are several dedicated card readers for CFexpress Type A, Type B, and SD cards. These external units feature a sleek and sturdy design, giving you the reliability you need while also looking stylish. Multicolored caps not only signify which reader you are grabbing but keep the internal card safe while in transit or in use. A 12.6” braided USB-C cable is attached to the housing for extra reliability.
Both CFexpress card readers operate on the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, giving you up to 20 Gb/s data transfer speeds, while the SD card reader operates on the 5 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 interface, ideal for managing massive media compilations. An LED write-protect-switch minimizes accidental file deletion or formatting, keeping your media safe in the event of an accident. Each of the card readers are bus powered, so you don’t need an external power source and are compatible with a wide range of devices operating on macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Windows, Linux, and Android.
