Zoom has introduced the Instamic Pro Plus C, an ultra-portable compact waterproof recorder. With an ingress protection rating of IP67, the Instamic is capable of withstanding full submersion up to one meter for thirty minutes and can handle rough recording conditions whether you’re dealing with dust, rain, sleet, or even snow. Even in the harshest of conditions, its Bluetooth compatible 32-bit float recording capability ensures there’s no need to worry about clipping or distortion, and it can wirelessly connect to the Insta360 camera series, the Garmin Virb Ultra 30, and the GoPro HERO12 and 13.
The Instamic is incredibly small, measuring 1.5 x 1 x 0.5 inches while housing an impressive omnidirectional MEMS microphone covering 40 Hz to 20 kHz and withstanding up to 135 dB SPL. It comes in mono and stereo/mono versions, both with 16GB of internal storage and more than four hours of battery life.
