Samsung is debuting two new Wi-Fi speakers at CES 2026—the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7.
The speakers, which are the inaugural offerings from Samsung's newly announced Music Studio series, promise to deliver “richer sound experiences while also enhancing aesthetic harmony.” They’re supposed to look good and sound good.
The larger (and more immersive) Music Studio 7 is a 3.1.1-channel speaker that can function as a standalone unit or be paired with compatible Samsung speakers, soundbars, and TVs via the company’s Q-Symphony technology. According to Samsung, the Music Studio 7 supports playing high-res audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz and features AI Dynamic Bass Control to ensure deep bass with minimal distortion.
The “gallery-inspired” Music Studio 5 features a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide for clear, balanced sound. Like the Music Studio 7, the Studio 5 utilizes AI Dynamic Bass Control to extend bass response and it supports a wide range of connectivity options and features available via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The aesthetically enhanced Music Studio speakers aren’t the only big audio announcements coming from Samsung at this year’s CES. The company is also unveiling updates to its iconic Q-Series of soundbars, including an updated flagship model, the HW-Q990H, and series newcomer, the HW-QS0H.
The HW-Q990H features an 11.1.4-channel system that combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers, and a dual 8-inch driver with built-in subwoofer to deliver Samsung’s “most immersive soundbar experience yet.” Meanwhile, the all-in-one HW-QS0H is touted as a 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers that “blends performance with aesthetic versatility.” We take that to mean that—much like the new Music Studio speakers—the HW-QS0H will look and sound good no matter where you put it.
Considering Samsung’s well-earned reputation for delivering best-in-class soundbars, we’d say that’s a pretty safe bet.
