Intel Announces New Core Ultra Series 3 Processors

Intel is happy to announce its new Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which are built on the 18A node and designed to accommodate multiple scenarios for a wide range of users. For lower-powered gamers to resource-demanding developmental tasks, these new processors offer powerful solutions for any workflow.

Coming in three flavors, the Core Ultra Series 3 includes the Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 9. Each iteration delivers an amount of power scalable to the processor family. The Core Ultra 5 is the “lightweight” processor of the group, designed for daily tasks; it starts with 6 cores and threads with higher-end models reaching up to 12 cores.

This is the same for both Ultra 7 and Ultra 9, with the maximum amount of cores able to reach up to 5.0 GHz and 5.1 GHz, respectively.  A few models like the Ultra X9 388H include integrated Intel Arc graphics that can assist with graphically intensive tasks such as gaming or design work.
