Just in time for NAMM 2026, Slate Digital is announcing a new expansion of their award-winning VMS (Virtual Instrument System) lineup with the ML-2A, a factory-matched pair of small-diaphragm modeling microphones featuring that can easy handle mono or stereo recording on virtually any instrument. Sporting accurately modeled modern and vintage high-end mics, the ML-2A gives you iconic tones right in your studio and is an ideal companion for the ML-1A.
Instantly audition or exploit classic workhorses like the S-57 and S-421, smooth ribbons like the S-121, legendary small-diaphragm condensers like the S-451 and S-222, and even iconic large-diaphragm condensers such as the S-414 and revered tube-powered S-67. You have up to 27 mic models in total to choose from.

These mics handle high-SPL sources with ease, offer enhanced dynamic range, and provide extra control with a bass roll-off switch and -20 dB pad. These matched pair mics are shipped with a mounting bar, making them an ideal choice for stereo capture in studio and on-location environments.
