Shure Refreshes the KSM Microphone Series

Shure Announces a Refresh of the KSM Microphone Series

Shure has announced a modern refresh of their KSM lineup of professional microphones with the new KSM32C, KSM40C, and KSM44MP models, which feature redesigned shock mounts, updated circuitry for lower self-noise and better bias-voltage, and improved overall performance. These microphones will be available from Shure in early March.

The KSM32C large diaphragm condenser mic replaces the current KSM32 and comes in both a studio and stage bundle kit. The stage bundle includes a foam windscreen, mic clamp, and zippered carrying case. The studio bundle includes a shock mount, magnetic pop filter, and the same carrying case.

The KSM40C and KSM44MP are both condenser mics with 1” capsules with the improved performance and consistency as well as the accessories included in the studio bundle. The KSM40C is a cardioid mic while the KSM44MP is a selectable multi-pattern mic with cardioid, omnidirectional, and bidirectional settings.
