Designers and gamers, rejoice: ASUS just announced the latest iterations of their popular ProArt and ROG displays. The new monitors leverage ASUS’s cutting-edge display technology to deliver ultra-accurate color, smooth visuals, deeper immersion, and all-around exceptional performance.
ProArt Displays
ASUS announced not one but three new ProArt displays. The first is the 26.5" PA27UCDMR ProArt OLED, which features all the bells and whistles a designer could ever want. Notable highlights include a 3840 x 2160 QD-OLED display that is VESA Certified DisplayHDR True Black 400, Calman Ready, and features Dolby Vision. You also get deep and intense colors thanks to the 99% DCI-P3 color gamut support with a Delta E color difference value of less than 1. To top it off, the monitor features a smooth 240 Hz refresh rate, making it fantastic for both work and play.
For the true color specialists, we have the larger 31.5" PA32UCDMR-K ProArt OLED, which leverages the same screen technology as the 27-inch variant (QD-OLED, VESA Certification, Calman Ready), but also includes the new 3-in-1 MCA02 colorimeter, so you can ensure you are getting the best color possible at all times.
Finally, for the artists who are just getting their feet wet, the 27" PA278CGV ProArt is a great solution. This display features a high-quality 2560 x 1440 resolution with a speedy 144 Hz refresh rate, giving you clear and smooth visuals across the board. Color-wise, the monitor is Vesa Certified Display HDR 400 and is also Calman Verified. You get up to 97% DCI-P3 color space support that is factory calibrated with a Delta E difference value that is less than 2. Additionally, thanks to some robust I/O, you can daisy-chain multiple displays together from a single video source. It also supports KVM capabilities, making it great for multitasking professionals within the design world.
Republic of Gamers (ROG) Swift
Gaming enthusiasts can level up their setup with the PG27AQWP-W, a sleek 27” OLED display that packs in plenty of features designed to give gamers the upper hand. This powerhouse of a display features a 2560 x 1440 resolution, which hits the sweet spot when it comes to visuals. This is backed up by a maximum refresh rate of 540 Hz, which gives you a smooth feel as you run through your favorite games. You can also enable Dual Mode, which boosts the refresh rate up to 720 Hz for even faster speed.
Other notable features include built-in OLED care, HDR10 support, G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium Pro, and a whole lot more. It manages to hit 99.5% DCI-P3 color grading with a Delta E of less than 2.
