Melding the higher frame rates, powerful hardware, and highly efficient ARRICORE codec of the ALEXA 35 XTREME with the modular form of the ALEXA 35 Live camera, the new ALEXA 35 Live (XR) Multicam System provides a complete toolset for your fiber-based live productions. This system is available in Entry, Standard, and Pro System (XR) sets, each comprising the ALEXA 35 XTREME Base Model camera body with LPL mount and BUD-1 Dovetail, LPS-1Fiber Camera Adapter FCA-1, LPS-1 Fiber Base Station FBS-1, PL mount, and various accessories.
The ALEXA 35 XTREME combines the superior image quality and reliability of the ALEXA 35 with higher frame rates up to 660 fps, the efficient ARRICORE RGB codec, longer pre-record times, and improved Wi-Fi. ARRIRAW, 660 fps high speed, Open Gate/Anamorphic, High-Speed, and Pre-Record function are accessible as separate or bundled license upgrades on a temporary or permanent basis to best fit your production needs. ALEXA 35 Live features include uncompressed 4K video over fiber cable, a Look Library with 87 cinematic options, and multiple control options including the separately available Skaarhoj RCP (remote control panel).
Designed for live even capture using a large box lens, the robust ALEXA 35 Live Pro System (XR) set pairs the ALEXA 35 Xtreme Base Model, fiber back, and fiber station with the Multicam Support Set 2, LLA-1 Large Lens Adapter, LLA-1 Control Module, LLA-1 Hard Flight Case, and multiple cables. The mid-level Standard System (XR) comprises the camera, fiber system, and Multicam Support Set 2. The Entry System (XR) gets you started with the camera and fiber system.
To complement the ALEXA 35 Live Multicam System, ARRI has also released the Multicam Support Set 2 and several new dedicated multicam accessories. Like its LPH-1 predecessor, the Live Production Handle LPH-2 offers an extended grip, NATO rail, and multiple accessory mounts. It also provides MYS-2/LPM-1monitor support and extended fore/aft adjustment when mounted on the TOP-1 top plate. The LLA-1/BUD Slider Plate lets you securely mount an ALEXA 35 camera on an LLA-1 Large Lens Adapter. It features an integrated locking mechanism and can be used on a camera with or without a large box lens mounted on an LLA-1 adapter. The ALEXA 35 Multicam Support Set 2 combines the ARRI Touchdown Baseplate TBP-1 and Receiver Plate TRP-1, Top Operator Plate TOP-1, and Live Production Handle LPH-2.
