At the heart of the iPad Air is the M4 chip, empowering users with greater performance uplift across the board. It features an 8-core CPU with a 9-core GPU, giving the latest iPad Air even greater performance than the previous model. Also, the memory gets an upgrade with 12GB of unified memory, great for multitasking and Apple Intelligence.

Speaking of Apple Intelligence, the M4 offers faster memory bandwidth across the available 12GB, enabling the use of various AI-enhanced applications. Apps like Goodnotes and Onform gain additional writing capabilities. Apple Creator Studio apps can perform tasks like Scene Removal Mask in Final Cut Pro even faster than before.

Of course, the iPad Air includes some of the fan-favorite features like the intuitive windowing system to organize applications, new Files and Preview apps, and additional audio input options. The 12MP Center Stage camera also makes a return, giving users a clean and crisp view of yourself. The new iPad Air with M4 comes in 11-inch and 13-inch variants and includes additional support for peripherals like Apple Pencil Pro, Magic Keyboard, and more.
