Intel Launches Core Ultra Plus Series Processors

Intel enhances your content creation, AI workloads, and gaming experiences with the launch of the Core Ultra Plus Series: the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, and Core Ultra 5 250KF desktop processors. By increasing the die-to-die frequency by up to 900 MHz, these processors speed up the CPU and memory controller link to drive down system latency while increasing multithread performance. They also feature four more efficiency cores compared to their predecessors for smoother multitasking.

All three support up to 7200 MT/s memory, up from 6400 MT/s on non-Plus Core Ultra CPUs. As a bonus, the Plus processors support 8000 MT/s memory overclocking with compatibility for 128GB 4-Rank CUDIMM memory modules on high-end desktop (HEDT) configurations.

Intel is also introducing the Binary Optimization Tool, a translation layer that enhances the native performance of select games.
