Manfrotto has released a new collection of Pro and Advanced water-repellent bags for carrying the gear that professionals and advanced hobbyists need by their side. The bags include the Pro line of backpacks, holsters, roller bags, and shoulder bags and the Advanced line of holsters, shoulder and sling bags and Gear, Active, and Tri backpacks.
Pro bags feature an Exo-Tough design for diverting impacts away from the middle of the bag by using multi-layered construction around the bag. This construction includes a tough exterior fabric over an internal multi-layered shock-absorbing foam, covered with a brushed fabric. Additionally, the Pro Collection features a Camera Protection System that uses both a front shield and red, rigid interior dividers to assist in withstanding impacts while maintaining the bag's interior shape. The front shield is triple-stacked with a structural reinforcement board, 3D shock-absorbing foam, and brushed, cushioned fabric. Additionally, the Pro rollers, backpacks, and shoulder bags use sturdy TPU feet that also serve as shock absorbers while supporting the bag.
The Advanced bags also feature the internal protection advantage of sturdy interior dividers. They are designed for photo enthusiasts, and offer a streamlined, modern style that still employs tough Manfrotto construction. Each Manfrotto bag is available in a variety of sizes.
Pro Backpacks 20, 30, and 50
The Pro Backpack line is as versatile as it is sturdy. You can carry your photo gear when you're hiking and traveling with the Pro Backpack, which is available in 20, 30, and 50 models.

The Pro Backpack 20 accommodates a 13-inch laptop and a tablet in separate dedicated compartments, while also making room (via padded interior dividers) for a DSLR with an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, three additional lenses, a flash, and extra DSLR body. The Pro Backpack 30 accommodates the same equipment, but also provides room to attach a battery grip to your DSLR with the 70-200 f/2.8 lens coupled. The Pro Backpack 50 holds a 15-inch laptop and a tablet inside dedicated compartments, a DSLR with a battery grip, an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, five additional lenses, a flash, and an extra DSLR body inside the main compartment. Additionally, each size of the Pro Backpack provides a tripod attachment at both its front and side.

The Pro Backpack also features an innovative zippered front flap, held together by two quick-release buckles. When the buckles are closed, you can quickly access your DSLR from the top, and when the buckles are opened, you can unzip the front flap all the way down to reveal the entire main compartment. The front flap features the Pro Collection's signature hard-shell exterior, protecting your gear from impacts. For storing easily accessible memory cards or filters there is a zippered side pocket and a zippered side pouch on the outside of the backpack. The side pocket doubles as a tripod cup and features a removable quick-release belt at the top for securing tripod legs. The zippered pouch, located on the opposite side, features a zippered pocket at the front for holding your smartphone or keys.
There is also a second tripod attachment at the front. A hidden tripod cup lies at the base, and four loops at the front allow you to use included quick-release belts to secure tripod legs. The included rain cover fits conveniently over an entire tripod secured on the backpack—even in the front.

Four feet on the bottom of the backpack allow you to set it upright. The feet provide structure and balance so you can open the front flap completely and lay it down for use as a field mat. This creates complete access to the main compartment and to the pockets located inside the flap. The pockets on the flap's interior include two mesh zippered pockets and a soft zippered pouch for storing your tablet.
Inside the main compartment are rigid red dividers with adjustable flaps that lie parallel along the length of the bag. Five additional small dividers allow for further organization. All of the dividers feature touch-fastener panels for customizing your backpack.
Customizing options include shoulder straps with adjustable quick-release belts at the top, a row of attachment loops on the front of each shoulder strap for attaching optional lens pouches or small accessories, and two D-rings that allow you to attach an optional carabiner or a small pouch.

Pro Roller Bags
The water-repellent Pro Roller Bag includes many of the features of the Pro collection—an intelligent impact-protection system made up of multi-layered construction, a front shield, and four shock-absorbing feet—to better divert impact away from the center of the bag. For further impact protection, the bag features red, rigid padded interior dividers that are built to withstand impact inside the bag and maintain its interior shape. Externally, the bag looks like luggage, but its interior provides a padded, gear-friendly environment with numerous pockets and equipment-storage compartments.
One side of the Roller features a zippered pouch with a vertical zippered pocket on top. These pockets hold small, easily accessible items like filters, headphones, and your smartphone. Underneath the front flap, there are two zippered mesh pockets for holding chargers and cables, as well as the laptop divider and tablet pocket.
If you travel with a tripod, the Pro Roller bag is a worthy choice. Not only does it feature a front exterior tripod attachment, but it includes a rain cover that fits over the tripod. Attaching your tripod is easy with the two included quick-release belts. They strap around the hidden tripod attachment loops at the front, and secure your tripod into the hidden tripod cup at the base of the Roller.

There are five varieties of this bag. The smallest bag, the Pro Shoulder 10, holds a DSLR and up to three lenses between rigid interior dividers and a tablet behind a dedicated padded divider in the main compartment. The Pro Shoulder 20 will accommodate a DSLR with an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, three extra lenses, and a flash. The Pro Shoulder Bag 30 holds an 11-inch laptop inside the main compartment, along with a DSLR with a grip, an attached 70-200 f/2.8, three lenses, and a flash; it also accommodates a tablet behind a dedicated divider in the front pouch. The larger Pro Shoulder Bag 40 holds a 13-inch laptop, a DSLR with a grip, an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, four additional lenses, and a flash inside its main compartment; it also holds a tablet in the front pouch. The largest bag, the Pro Shoulder Bag 50, holds a 15-inch laptop, two DSLRS with two battery grips, an attached 70-200 f/2.8 lens, eight additional lenses, a flash, and a tablet in dedicated compartments.
Innovative, quick-access features make this bag stand out as an accommodating travel bag. For starters, a padded expandable zippered pouch on one side of the bag fits a DSLR body or a larger accessory. This allows every Pro Shoulder bag to hold an extra DSLR body in addition to the equipment that fits inside the main compartment. A hidden touch-fastened flap comes out to secure the pocket if the zipper is compromised by excess equipment. A top zipper creates access right to the main compartment, which lets you retrieve your gear easily without forcing you to remove the whole bag from an overhead bin or other storage area. A wide double-zipper opens a top flap away from you so you can access your shoulder bag while you are still wearing it, without showing anyone else what you have inside.
In addition to the padded tablet pockets in the larger models of the Pro Shoulder Bags, all these bags feature an organization panel in the front pouch. This panel is made up of three pen slots and two slip pockets that will hold your smartphone or MP3 player. There is also a simple zippered pocket on the other side that is great for storing accessible items like memory cards or filters. Additionally, there is a large zippered pocket at the back of the bag, suitable for caryying books or magazines.
To wear the shoulder bag, Manfrotto has provided two removable straps—one is a wide shoulder strap that features a detachable, touch-fastened, cushioned comfort pad, and the other a convenient top carry handle that is large enough to be worn over one shoulder. The rear trolley strap also allows for easily transporting your shoulder bag perched on rolling luggage.
Designed for comfortable and efficient travel, the Pro Shoulder Bags are constructed in accordance with the Pro Collection by featuring water-repellent materials, impact-absorbing TPU feet, rigid shock-absorbing dividers, front hard-shell construction, and a detachable, gray fitted rain cover.

Advanced Tri Backpacks
Manfrotto's Tri Backpack can be transported three different ways. You can wear it as a right- or left-handed sling, a regular shoulder harness, or an inverted X-harness backpack. Each of the three ways allows you to slide the backpack around so it's in front of you, for immediate access to your gear. These carrying options are achieved by way of the quick-release buckles attached to each shoulder strap; opening the quick-release buckles allows you to rearrange the straps into your preferred configuration. For using it as a sling, there is a hidden pocket behind the padded mesh at the back that allows you to hide the unused shoulder strap.

Advanced Active Sling
Sporty and intelligently constructed, the water-repellent Advanced Active Sling I is designed to quickly swing around to the front of your body for easy access to your essential gear. For security, the sling features a triple-fastened closure, which includes a dual-zippered grab handle, a touch-fastened flap and, for extra protection, a quick-release buckle. This closure is convenient not only for the extra protection, but for the ability to choose between the various options. For exploring a safari or zoo, you can leave the quick-release buckle and the dual-zippered handle unfastened. This way, the panel safely secures with the touch-fastened flap, but can be quickly accessed should the decisive moment arise.
The Active Sling I accommodates a DSLR with an attached lens, two additional lenses, and a flash, between rigid interior dividers. In addition to organizing your gear, these rigid dividers provide interior structure for holding up the middle of the sling during impact. For additional storage, there is a front zippered pocket, convenient for holding chargers or cables, a small zippered pocket on the strap for holding a smartphone, and a small pocket on an interior divider that holds a filter or a memory card. The small interior pocket has a touch-fastened tab for security.
The sling features comfort options like a padded, breathable mesh underside, a wide, cushioned shoulder strap, and a nylon-webbed waist strap to help distribute weight evenly. Additionally, the sling can be carried using a padded grip handle on the side. A removable rain cover is included for extra protection from unpredictable weather.
