i bought this flash for its compactness for my OME-10. It underexposes all my flash pictures. The built in flash does a better job. I found the flash defaults to iso 200 while the cameras built in flash's iso is auto.
Hello Ed,
There could be multiple reasons for the underexposure. First, if you are bouncing this flash, the power will be drastically reduced compared to the direct setting which is similar to your built-in flash. Second, make sure you don't accidentally have flash exposure compensation turned down. If you are still seeing underexposure, you can try to adjust the flash exposure compensation in camera, which may help compensate for the underexposure. This unit is rated to a greater power than your built-in flash and should deliver better exposures.
