Profoto’s latest light-shaping tools introduce even more creative possibilities to the portable Clic ecosystem. Designed with wedding, event, and other location photographers in mind, the new collection includes a pair of octa softboxes with grids, as well as the Clic Magnum.
Photographers will now have the option of using 2.3' and 2.7' octa softboxes with A-series lights to illuminate larger subjects. Like their predecessor, the new softboxes feature a magnetic mount and integrated handle with stand adapter for quick setup and teardown. Pull-over style grids for each softbox will also be separately available to focus output and reduce spill.
Joining the new softboxes is the Clic Magnum, capable of narrowing the beam angle of A-series lights from 62 to 37 degrees and adding up to 1.8 stops of output. A grid is included to further reduce beam angle to 20 degrees.
