Allen & Heath announced an updated lineup of their SQ series of digital mixers with the all-new SQ5+, SQ6+, and SQ7+. Each mixing console features 48 input channels and the same 96 kHz XCVI core that also powers the previous SQ and current QU lineups. A&H SQ mixers are known for their power and reliability, particularly for owner-operators, mid-sized venues, and touring acts that need high level audio quality and interoperability.
The new SQ+ lineup brings upgrades like more processing power, a larger 9” touchscreen, a reimagined GUI and UX, and a cleaner and more modern look with a “carbon-on-graphite” theme. All models also feature Allen & Heath’s RackUltra FX engines with dedicated send and return channels with the ability to run the latest DEEP channel processing as well as support for Rack Ultra plugins.
The SQ5+ has an optional kit for configuring it as a 19” rack-mountable unit.
With these impressive new features, new or upgrading venues and touring acts should take the opportunity to check out the new and upgraded Allen & Heath SQ+ lineup, set to release mid-May 2026.
