0Share

Established in 1985, American DJ has been producing a wide range of lighting, audio, and staging products for nightclubs, discos, mobile entertainers, bands, concert tours, theatre productions, TV shows, cruise ships, houses of worship, trade shows, and architectural applications. B&H is excited to introduce its new crop of lighting and atmospheric effects, including the Boom Box FX1, Boom Box FX2, Mega QA Go Battery-Powered PAR, Mini Dekker LZR, and the Entour Venue Faze Machine.

The Boom Box Series effects combine several effects into one compact unit. The FX1 features a dome moonflower, a derby, and a wash effect, while the FX2 features a gobo moonflower, a derby, and a wash effect. Additionally, both units provide strobe/chase lighting effects, as well as DMX controllable red and green lasers. Each compact fixture includes nine built-in shows and can produce 63 preset color combinations. The instruments will also function in Master/Slave modes and include power linking for easy multi-light setups.

The Mega QA Go is a battery-powered LED PAR fixture capable of red, green, blue, and amber color mixing and is designed to produce bright color washes and smooth color mixing in a truly portable form factor. The built-in rechargeable battery can last up to four hours of use at 100% and lets you place the fixture anywhere, regardless of power location. At 4 lb, this lightweight and compact fixture offers a sit-flat slim profile with convenient side-positioning of power and DMX I/O, which allows placement directly on the ground or inside truss for up-lighting effects. The unit offers automated programs such as Auto-Run, Strobe, Sound-Active, RGBA Dimmer, and Static Color modes simple deployment. The master/slave function allows for the coordination of multiple fixtures without the need for a controller. For extensive controls, the Mega QA Go offers full DMX control and provides flicker-free performance well suited for TV production.

The Mini Dekker LZR is part of the Startec Series of multi-effect lighting and features two 10W RGBW LEDs for the moonflower effect, which are projected through the fixtures 48 lenses. Additionally, the instrument offers red and green lasers for projecting patterns. The Mini Dekker can be controlled via DMX, sound-active mode, or show mode. Multiple units can be controlled together by way of a master/slave configuration or via DMX. The fixture is also compatible with the optional UC IR wireless remote or with the optional Airstream IR iOS app.

The Entour Venue is a 1,500W faze (combination fog and haze) that is completely roadworthy and works with water-based fog fluid. The unit warms up quickly (45 seconds) and produces fog at 1,500 cubic feet per minute. The Entour Venue features an external anti-spill fog fluid tank with a 1.4-gallon capacity. The unit has a six-button control built into the enclosure and offers control over fog timer, volume, continuous fogging, and manual fogging. For even greater control, the unit responds to DMX with three channel modes (1, 2, or 4).
