The acclaimed German audio manufacturer Beyerdynamic has announced the release of the new DT-275 PRO headphones, designed specifically for filmmakers, live front-of-house and DJ booths, and any audio situation where confident decisions need to be made under pressure in loud environments. These closed-back on-ear headphones feature high passive sound isolation and balanced no-nonsense sound tuning so you can hear clear speech, accurately assess levels, focus in on cue points, and monitor the mix without fear of missing any details.
The DT 275 PROs are surprisingly small, weighing only 195g. They are portable and lightweight enough for long sessions and modular setups. Some features include a rotating on-ear build, flexible connectivity with cable connections on both earcups, a soft headband and earpads, and easily accessible and replaceable parts. The whole package comes with a carrying bag, instruction booklet, 3.5mm to ¼" adapter, and a coiled cable with an extra coil near the lock-in headphone connection side, helping ensure there are no disconnections when working under pressure.
The DT 275 Pros have a nominal impedance of 45 ohms, so they'll work with just about any system you need it to, and with high SPL of 105 dB and a wide frequency response range of 5 Hz-24 kHz, you'll be able to crank up the volume over loud environments while capturing all the detail of what you need to hear.
