Blindingly Cool DJ Lighting from Blizzard!

Whether the event is private or public, exclusively small or packed to the walls, visual entertainment is a priority deserving of your attention. A party’s music without lights is like a hefty pasta sans sauce; it’s consumable, but lacks pizazz and downgrades the enjoyment factor significantly. Blizzard’s new lighting fixtures include a laser, a moving head, and a strobe/blinder, and aim to deliver exciting illumination without breaking the bank.

First up is the Laser Blade G, a wide-beam 50mW, Class 3R laser capable of stand-alone, auto-beam, auto-animation, sound-active, or DMX operation modes. It boasts 540° pan, 270° tilt, and 15 kpps galvo scanners, which aid in providing the 133 geometric figures, 14 animations, and 76 beam patterns. A 4-button LCD control panel enables easy configuration and status indication.

Next is the Snake Eyes Mini, a compact moving-head fixture with six CREE 10W RGBW LEDs—each with a 9° beam angle—and 12 RGB strips adorning head edges. Use the RGB strips for auto-mode color chases or DMX-controlled automation. Selectable 630°/540° pan, infinite tilt, pan/tilt invert, and 1 to 25 Hz strobing ensure flexibility for your aerial effects.

Last, let’s look at the SnowBlind, a strobe/blinder fixture with 18 high-power 1W cool white LEDs. Brightness/intensity, strobe rate, and internal mic sensitivity can be controlled by the 4-button LCD panel or via three DMX channels. A dedicated rear-panel knob offers easy manual sound sensitivity adjustment. The DMX jacks are wiCICLE-enabled for powering Blizzard’s wiCICLE wireless DMX system. Use the SnowBlind as a stand-alone unit or link it with two or more SnowBlinds and utilize the Master/Slave mode.
