Attention sound mixers, indie filmmakers, and everyone in between! Deity has announced the arrival of the Theos dual-channel, digitally modulated UHF wireless microphone system. Part of Deity’s Sidus ecosystem, this cutting-edge system is packed with features not commonly available to the average user of wireless audio and is designed to make the audio recording process seamless and stress free.
Featuring a dual-channel receiver, the Deity Theos uses a wideband UHF spectrum between 550-960 MHz—rather than the crowded 2.4 GHz band—to ensure you get a clear signal even in busy RF environments. And because of its digital modulation, you get crystal-clear audio, free from analog artifacts. The transmitter delivers up to 100mW of RF transmission power, giving you all the power you need to overcome interference.

The system also includes a built-in 32-bit float recorder in the transmitter, allowing you to save your recordings to a Micro SD card with a capacity of up to 128GB. This ensures that you can always shoot even when you’re working in an environment where wireless is not allowed—such as in large sporting events that require clearance beforehand. The recorder offers 24-bit and 32-bit float formats, meaning that you don’t have to worry about gain staging on your backup WAV files.
The Deity Theos can wirelessly sync timecode from the Deity TC-1 timecode generator, making it possible for you to sync your backup recordings with your master file easily in post—ideal for filmmakers who need to work with multiple cameras or devices.

The transmitter and receiver can be remotely controlled via the Sidus Audio app on your phone or iPad from up to 250' away. SMA antenna ports on the receiver and transmitter enable you to replace the antennas if they get damaged or to connect shark fin antennas to the receiver for bag use.

With up to 14 hours of battery life using lithium batteries, the system also features a full-color LCD screen, especially useful for filmmakers who need to work in various locations and lighting conditions. The transmitter and receiver’s lightweight, CNC-milled aluminum chassis ensures durability and longevity.
