RX Elements is a budget-friendly version of RX designed for small home studios with basic needs. RX 6 Standard is the industry standard audio repair tool, designed to restore damaged, noisy audio to pristine condition. Drawing upon algorithms used on countless albums, movies, and TV shows, RX 6 Standard includes everything from Elements and adds De-bleed, which removes headphone bleed from an acoustic guitar track, click track bleed from a vocal take, and fixes other signal bleed issues. Spectral De-ess transparently attenuates sibilance with iZotope’s Spectral Shaping technology. Mouth De-click removeS distracting mouth noise, while Spectral Repair allows you to paint away audio problems visually, like ringing cell phones, birds, and squeaky bass-drum pedals. De-plosive Transparently repairs unwanted plosives with a single click, while Breath Control reduces or removes distracting breaths between words and phrases. Spectral De-noise attenuates amp buzz, tape hiss, and other unwanted steady-state background noise.
RX 6 Advanced is the flagship product and adds advanced features for post-production professionals and dialog editors. The Advanced version includes everything from Elements and Standard but adds De-rustle, which enables you to remove lavalier mic rustle from dialogue with a single click, while Dialogue Isolate extracts dialogue from noisy environments with complex background sounds like clanging plates in a restaurant, traffic noise, and machinery. De-wind cleans up intermittent low-frequency wind rumble and bursts from location dialogue, while Ambience Match will fill in consistent ambience beds under constructed sentences and ADR lines. EQ Match imparts the EQ profile of location dialogue to ADR with just two clicks.
RX Post Production Suite 2 combines four products into a post-production powerhouse. The suite includes RX 6 Advanced, Neutron Advanced, RX Loudness Control, and Insight. Neutron Advanced includes zero-latency processing with true-peak limiting, a dynamic EQ with sidechain, and automatic dialogue polishing, while RX Loudness Control ensures your mixes meet the required delivery specifications with intelligent algorithms that eliminate guesswork. Insight provides an extensive set of audio analysis and metering tools specifically designed for post-production and broadcast.
