Mackie has announced the latest refresh of the Thrash PA system with the release of the Mackie Thrash15v2 and 12v2 1300W powered loudspeakers. Mackie is known for offering PA systems with raw power and rugged design at an affordable price, and this revamp pulls no punches. The new Thrashv2 has some exciting new tech, including intelligent features and expanded connectivity.
The new lineup now offers Bluetooth connectivity that can pair two speakers for streaming from devices along with the standard mic, line, and Hi-Z inputs. The Thrashv2 includes new smart features that will power up any mix without drowning you out: four selectable voicing modes have been added, with flat mode for neutral sound, DJ mode that boosts the lows and highs, live mode to boost the vocal range, and wedge mode to boost mids for use as a stage monitor.
The Mackie Thrashv2 also features a new feedback eliminator feature to prevent any glass-shattering squeals when the mic gets too close to the speaker and an overload limiter, so you don’t have to worry about anything when you need to crank up the gain.
