MuxLab Announces Network Audio System Products with Dante / Bluetooth

MuxLab, a Canadian company that designs and manufactures Pro AV signal distribution solutions, has announced its latest line of digital audio networking products, which includes portable desktop Dante, USB, and Bluetooth technologies.

  • The Dante 2-Channel USB Audio Encoder / Decoder is a compact and easy to carry device that encodes 2-channel USB audio to a Dante digital signal and decodes a Dante signal to 2-channel USB audio. It can be powered using PoE from any PoE network switch or via 5V from the USB device.

  • The Dante 2-Channel Analog Audio Encoder features two Phoenix block connectors and is designed to convert the transmission of full-range (20 Hz to 20 kHz) balanced or unbalanced two-channel analog audio signals to digital to be used with Dante-compatible equipment. The unit can be powered using either PoE from any PoE network switch or via local with a 12V power supply.

  • The Dante 2-Channel Analog Audio Decoder supports balanced or unbalanced audio output and features three gain level adjustments (+18 dBu, 0 dBu, and -10 dBV).  The unit decodes and outputs Dante as analog audio signals and can be powered using either PoE from any PoE network switch or via local with a 12 VDC power supply.

  • The Dante 2-Channel Power Amplifier is a 2-channel, 240W power amplifier that utilizes a Dante input as the input source for sound reinforcement applications. This powerful Class-D amplifier is combined with features such as 12V trigger control, audio sensing, volume gain adjustment, short-circuit protection, and overheating protection. This simple-to-use device connects to a Dante controller and routes the signal from a source device on the same Dante network. It provides two 120W (4/8 ohms) channels or a single 240W 70/100V channel with constant output for multiple speakers.

  • The Bluetooth Audio to Dante Interface, available in black or white, is a two-way audio transmission panel for Bluetooth and Dante. The wall-plate interface connects your smartphone, tablet (iOS & Android), and other mobile devices via Bluetooth for transmission through a Dante network. Power, control, and audio data are transmitted by only one network cable for simple ease of operation. This single-cable solution mitigates ground loops and other audio issues. The Bluetooth Audio to Dante interface is designed for use with standard US wall gang boxes with Decora faceplates.

  • The Bluetooth and Analog Audio to Dante Interface, also available in black or white, is a two-way wall panel that provides Bluetooth, analog audio, and Dante connectors while allowing your smartphone, tablet (iOS & Android), and other mobile devices to connect via Bluetooth, dual analog RCA, or a 3.5mm TRS input jack to convert the signal to digital for transmission through a Dante network. Power, control, and audio data are transmitted by only one network cable for simple ease of operation. This single-cable solution mitigates ground loops and other audio issues. The Bluetooth Audio to Dante interface is designed for use with standard dual-gang US wall boxes with Decora faceplates.

  • The Dante 4-Channel Audio DSP is a portable, desktop device that’s designed for the transmission, routing, and processing of audio signals in Dante networks. It can perform high-quality, low-delay audio transmission, supports 4-way input and output-balanced analog channels, and can be powered via PoE from any PoE network switch or via a 12 VDC power supply. The processor supports 4-way analog audio signal-balanced input and output, 4-way Dante digital audio signal input of 2 Dante devices, and 4-way Dante digital audio signal output.

  • And finally, the Dante/Quad Channel Audio PoE Gateway permits non-Dante compatible analog audio equipment to interface with Dante compatible professional audio equipment. It can be used to transmit dual two-channel or quad single-channel full-range audio—20 Hz to 20 kHz—over the network to Dante. In addition, dual two-channel or quad single-channel balanced analog audio signals may also be received from Dante compatible equipment in the same manner.
