Professional DJs know how crucial it is to maintain fluid and innovative performances to wow the crowds, and the gear should never interfere with that mission. With that thought steering them, the big brains at Pioneer DJ developed two powerful successors to its popular DJM-S9 and DJM-909 battle mixers: Introducing the black DJM-S11 and the limited-edition DJM-S11-SE with special "throwback" styling akin to the DJM-909.
Purpose-built for use with rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro, these two-channel, four-deck battle mixers can simultaneously play up to four tracks, with decks 3 and 4 showing on the touchscreen along with controls for accessing and loading tracks, tweaking EQs, looping, triggering Hot Cues, and more. Plus, you can use Dual Deck control to scratch, effect, or adjust the volume of decks 1 and 3 (or decks 2 and 4) at the same time, or even seamlessly reassign tracks from deck 1 to 4 (or deck 2 to 3) via the Deck Move function to make the main decks available for the next big track.
The new design of the DJM-S11 features a 4.3" customizable touchscreen, new controls, larger performance pads, and a more robust Magvel Fader Pro. Thanks to the color touchscreen, you'll feel in complete command of your tracks—find tracks, visually monitor track waveforms, impart Touch FX with a single finger, and use Touch MIDI to activate special functions in your DJ software. Another new and noteworthy feature on the DJM-S11 is Smooth Echo, which enables automatic echo upon adjusting faders or pressing the pads.
Internally, the DJM-S11 is equipped with 64-bit mixing, dithered DSP processing, stable clocking, and a 32-bit D/A converter to ensure premium, studio-quality sound. With 15 Beat FX ported from the DJM-S9 and seven new Beat FX, there's a slew of textures just waiting to be unleashed on your sets.
When it comes to connectivity, the DJM-S11 is sure to make your life easier. Dual USB Type-A ports can accommodate DJ controllers while the dual USB Type-B ports handle hookup of two laptops. You'll also find line and phono RCA inputs for each channel, an XLR-1/4" mic input, an RCA aux input, XLR and RCA master outputs, 1/4" booth outputs, and two headphone outputs (1/4" and 3.5mm).
Whether you prefer rekordbox or Serato DJ Pro, or you need full MIDI-mapping capabilities for a different DJ program, the DJM-S11 is a beast of a battle mixer. Come to the B&H SuperStore or head to our website to learn more!
