Building upon the success of the DDJ-SR, Pioneer ups the ante with new DDJ-SR2, which features a series of dedicated buttons related to “key” functions found in Serato DJ. These new functions offer quick, hands-on control over Serato Pitch ’n Time, which provides Key Shift, Key Sync, and Key Reset, allowing you to adjust a song’s key without affecting the tempo, resulting in a clean harmonic mix of two songs without adverse effects. Other notable upgrades include large multi-colored performance pads, which are used to trigger Hot Cues, Rolls, and Sampler features. What’s more, the pads change color depending on play mode and playing status.

The DDJ-SR2 features two low-latency jog wheels with great scratch response and accuracy, while the 2-channel mixer provides built-in deck buttons for controlling up to four decks. The integrated USB sound card offers phono/line RCA inputs, XLR and RCA master outputs, and ¼" booth outputs. A ¼" microphone input is available for incorporating an MC into your performance. Additionally, the mixer will function stand-alone without a connected computer. The DDJ-SR2 ships with a power cord, an AC adapter, a USB cable, and Serato DJ software with Serato Pitch ’n Time DJ.
