RODE Brings New Upgrades to the Wireless GO III

RODE has added 32-bit float recording to the Wireless GO system lineup with the Wireless GO III, a third-generation version of RODE’s tried-and-true wireless microphone system. The new iteration comes in a 2-person configuration with two transmitters and a plethora of upgraded features like 32-bit float onboard recording, internal storage, and increased transmission distance.

The previous model required a companion app to export files in 32-bit at 48 kHz. Now, 32-bit float recording is built into the system, allowing you to recover clipped or quiet audio files with ease. On top of this, the Wireless GO III adds onboard recording capabilities to its two included transmitters. Both units have 32 GB of internal storage which can store over 40 hours of backup recordings for additional peace of mind.

Connect to cameras, smartphones, and computers of your choice using the system’s USB-C port and Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption. Intelligent GainAssist technology is also built into the Wireless GO III for flexible output gain control and a safety channel to ensure clear audio capture. You can also monitor your audio quality via the receiver’s 3.5mm TRRS jack and adjust using onboard level controls. Communication between the receiver and transmitter units extends up to 853’ via line-of-sight transmission.

All the components of the Wireless GO III run using built-in batteries for up to 7 hours at a time. The receiver will automatically detect whether the source it is plugged into can provide plug-in power, allowing you to save battery life without toggling any additional settings or permissions. Once depleted, the included charging hub gets you back up and running.

Like other RODE systems, the Wireless GO III can be used in tandem with the RODE Central companion app for expanded features and device customization.
