Featuring both analog and digital sound engines and a compact, highly-portable design, the 37 mini-key JD-Xi from Roland is designed to deliver fat, warm analog bass and lead tones, plus polyphonic digital pads, strings, brass, and much more. With a diverse sound set, 128-voice total polyphony, and ample controls for hands-on tweaking, this new synth is sure to turn heads whether you’re creating in the studio or on stage.
Built for producers and beat makers, as well as keyboardists, the JD-Xi also allows you to create loops with a built-in four-track pattern sequencer and built-in drum kits. To get inspired, it includes a large selection of ready-to-play sounds and patterns that make great starting points to jam with. You can create vocal textures with the included gooseneck mic and onboard vocoder, and process sounds with up to four simultaneous effects, including Distortion, Fuzz, Bit Crush, Phaser, Ring Mod, and more.
The JD-Xi features a USB port for communication with computer-based sequencers and DAW software, as well as standard MIDI I/O for interfacing with your favorite hardware equipment. Additionally, Roland offers the custom-fit CB-JDXi Carrying Bag with matching red and black styling and protective foam padding, specifically designed to protect your JD-Xi synthesizer from the rigors of the road.
