Shure is announcing three new bundles for their GLXD+ wireless system. Already popular with users seeking a convenient and easy to set up wireless audio system, the GLXD+ system is now shipping in bundles centered around presentation that includes the updated WL185m lavalier microphone with a cardioid (rather than omnidirectional) pickup. This includes the Dual-Band Cardioid Wireless Presenter Rack System, the Dual-Band Cardioid Wireless Presenter System (tabletop), and the 1-Person Wireless Combo Microphone Rack System, which comes with both a bodypack transmitter and handheld SM58 mic transmitter.
Like all other GLXD+ systems, these bundled systems sport the ability to switch between 2.4 and 5.8 GHz operation (Z3 band) with an auto-scan function for finding the optimal frequency and band for your environment. The system will auto pair, offers a total bandwidth of 208.5 MHz, can charge the SB904 battery from the front panel, and can be expanded to a higher mic channel counts (up to 11 mic channels for the rack systems and four mic channels for the tabletop system).
Each of the three new bundles include the updated WL185m low-profile lavalier microphone, which provides a cardioid pickup pattern that rejects noise and feedback from the sides and rear, focusing more on the voice of the speaker. This makes these bundles ideal for applications such as stage presentation, classrooms, conference rooms, broadcast/journalism, vocal performances, and more.
