Sonnox has announced the release of the new Oxford Envolution plug-in, a frequency-dependent envelope shaper with separate transient and sustain sections. The plug-in adds presence/distance to drums, piano, guitar, and any other percussive content. By boosting sustain, the ambience of the audio will bloom, while lowering it creates a quick and precise gating effect. The plug-in also features Tilt/Parametric EQ targeting, which allows for additional precision when processing audio, a DIFF button to solo the effect, and a Warmth control for tone shaping and harmonic saturation. The Envolution may be used in parallel without phase cancellation and several great presets are provided to get you started.
