Great for touring and sound reinforcement installations alike, Soundcraft’s new Si Impact is a 40-input digital mixing console that supports remote mixing using a proprietary iPad app. This console is designed to be as simple to navigate as an analog mixer, but offers workflow enhancements, such as the FaderGlow system, which illuminates each fader track in different colors to provide at-a-glance status of precisely what the fader is controlling, be it channel volume, an aux or FX send, or an EQ.
The Si Impact offers plenty of I/O, giving you 32 microphone inputs, along with 8 XLR-1/4" combi-inputs for line sources such as keyboards and samplers. There are four customizable fader layers and four-band parametric EQ on each channel and bus, allowing you to dial-in your mix quickly and accurately, night after night. Featuring studio-grade reverbs, delays, and modulations from Lexicon, dynamics from dbx, and graphic equalizers from BSS, the Si Impact comes fully equipped to mix everything from rock bands to stage plays. Also, with a 32-in/32-out USB audio interface, the Si Impact mixer supports professional digital recording directly to your computer and comes with a free download of Ableton Live Lite 9.
