Now available at B&H, the 318BT Bluetooth AudioStix from Switchcraft is a small, in-line wireless audio receiver that utilizes Bluetooth technology to stream audio from any Bluetooth-enabled device. The AudioStix is phantom powered and works by simply plugging-in the unit to an available channel on your mixing console to create a wireless Bluetooth connection. Should phantom power be unavailable, there is a 5V auxiliary Micro-USB power input on the side of the unit. The low-latency receiver operates under 4.0 Bluetooth technology, and offers a range of 50' indoors to 100' line of sight.
The 16-bit DAC delivers a high-quality audio signal with its output summed to mono (balanced) and a frequency response of 73 Hz to 17 kHz. The onboard red status indicators will flash for 30 seconds once engaged. When both the yellow and red LEDs begin to flash, you can connect your Bluetooth device. Should you wish to skip the waiting period, press the internal reset button with a paperclip to set the unit immediately to learn mode. Built to withstand the rigors of commercial and residential environments, the AudioStix is made in the USA using a durable, anodized-aluminum enclosure with a Switchcraft XLR connector.
