0Share

Here at B&H Photo, we are privileged to share with you the announcement of the HeadPLUS v2 pan and tilt head, HeadPLUS PRO v2 pan and tilt head, and FocusPLUS PRO focus motor, three new filmmaking tools from the innovators at edelkrone. Improving on the original versions, these motorized remote heads are easy to use and control, providing smooth cinematic moves for your productions, and are well suited for use with your edelkrone SliderPLUS.

The HeadPLUS v2 has a maximum payload of 10 lb, while the HeadPLUS PRO v2 supports cameras weighing up to 20 lb. Both come with width extenders for the SliderPLUS to maximize stability. Featuring ultra-precise stepper motors and ultra-high-resolution encoders for precise and repeatable moves, these battery-powered units make for ideal location tools that can add professional camera moves to your shot, and can be powered by either V-mount, Gold mount, LP-E6, L-series batteries, or an AC/DC power supply (neither batteries nor power supply are included).

The FocusPLUS PRO can be used by itself as a lens-control motor or combined with either version of the HeadPLUS or HeadPLUS PRO to add focus pulls to your moving shots. Made from CNC-machined aluminum and stainless steel, the FocusPLUS PRO is a rugged lens motor that is brushless and features a high-resolution encoder for accurate focus pulls. It sports a cine-standard 0.8 MOD drive gear that is suitable for use with non-servo-controlled (manual) lenses with or without hard stops. An included gear ring allows you to use lenses without a gear ring with the motor. The FocusPLUS Pro is powered by either an optional AC/DC adapter or an optional LP-E6 battery for portability.
