Aputure has announced the Nova P600c soft light, and we at B&H are glad we can share some of the details of this exciting new light fixture with you. The Nova P600c and its familiar 2 x 1 shape fits neatly into your lighting package and style, and it is also available as a kit with a hard case so you can take it with you on location. Twice as bright as the popular Nova P300c, the P600c has four times as many light engines, for even more precise control over the light's output, making for more fluid lighting effects and striking a balance between intensity and precision.
This RGBWW light has a CCT range of 2000 to 10000K with a 95 CRI and TLCI rating. It also supports standard X,Y (CIE 1931) color control, and outputs more than 90% of the Rec.2020 color space, providing rich saturated colors in HSI (Hue, Saturation, Intensity). In addition to the brightness and quality of the P600c’s output, this fixture is built to simplify your workflow because it features 8- and 16-bit DMX512 control via 5-pin XLR connections, as well as having built-in LumenRadio CRMX for wireless control, making it compatible with industry-standard wireless DMX systems. The P600c has more than 300 industry-standard gel combinations, as well as 19 lighting effects accessible locally, or via your compatible smart device running the Sidus Link mobile app.
Built for day-to-day use on location and in the studio, the Nova P600c has a rugged housing and heavy-duty yoke with two disk brakes and a junior-pin for mounting, as well as a Neutrik powerCON AC cable connector. Eschewing cables wherever possible, the power supply is integrated into the unit and the control box uses a contact-pin cable-free connection interface, making the Nova P600c easy to set up and use.
