Atomos is scaling up its monitoring solutions with the release of the Sumo PRO-19 4K HDR Monitor-Recorder-Switcher. The new iteration of the 19” monitor features a notable display resolution upgrade to UHD 4K HDR while maintaining a combination of live switching and routing capabilities. Additional improvements to the PRO version of the Sumo include support for live SDI quad switching and 5-channel ISO recording up to 8K30. Network connectivity and wireless support ensure NDI|HX3 compatibility and AirGlu timecode via Bluetooth and RF to keep all cameras on set. The Ethernet and WiFi 6E connections also reinforce the Sumo PRO-19’s camera-to-cloud workflow capabilities using ATOMOSPhere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox.

Execute your creative vision with the monitor’s comprehensive 3D LUT support. The PRO-19 can receive LOG signals from cameras and apply a real-time LUT that matches what the final image might look like in Rec.709. You can also upload custom LUTs from a CFexpress card or via USB-C. Access a wide array of professional monitoring tools like waveform, focus peaking, and vectorscopes using the touchscreen display or the six user-defined function buttons for quick recall. Record the program stream output in ProRes Raw/Raw HQ, 10-bit Apple ProRes, H.265, or DNxHR formats using the CFexpress card slot.
