Autel Robotics recently announced the EVO Max 4T, a powerful new drone designed for industrial and safety operations, including land surveying, building inspection, scene reconstruction, overwatch for situational awareness, firefighting, search and rescue, and more. What sets the EVO Max 4T apart from other industrial drones is its versatility despite its compact design, making it easier to store, transport, and deploy quickly without sacrificing capability.

The EVO Max 4T features the Fusion 4T payload, which integrates wide-angle, zoom, and thermal cameras with a laser rangefinder to meet a wide range of industrial workflow requirements. The zoom camera supports 8K 10x optical zoom and 160x hybrid zoom with clear details on targets up to 1.24 miles away. The wide-angle camera is 50MP and is ISO 64000 with the next generation of Moonlight Algorithm 2.0 to capture crisp, brighter, detailed images in low-light environments. The thermal camera is equipped with 640x512 high-resolution thermal imaging with 16x digital zoom. Finally, the laser rangefinder registers the coordinates and altitude of a target up to 0.75 miles away with a simple tap.

Other features include autonomous path finding, as well as using AI recognition technology to lock onto different types of targets, such as heat sources or vehicles. It can also navigate indoors, underground, and in environments without GPS. The elements are no match for this drone because its IP43 rating allows it to make the most of its 42 minutes of flight time in all weather conditions.

Autel Robotics has stated that the EVO Max 4T features the brand's new A-Mesh 1.0 system that allows for drone-to-drone autonomous commutation and is otherwise mission-ready with Skylink 3.0, which boasts six antennas, four frequency bands, AES-256 encryption and optional 4G integration.

The MSRP for this drone starts at $8,999.00 and it comes with the 7.9" Smart Controller V3, which has a 9.3-mile transmission range, is capable of 2,000 nit brightness, and is IP43 rated. It is also compatible with the Live Deck 2, which can transmit real-time full HD video to your TV or display, making it the perfect solution for cross-departmental collaboration, communication, and decision-making. Preorders are available now.

We love covering Autel's drone releases, including the EVO II V3, Live Deck 2, and Smart Controller that debuted last December. Questions or thoughts about the EVO Max 4T? Let us know what you think of it in the Comments section, below!
