BUSHMAN Panoramic Has Supports for Your VR Camera

0Share

VR video shooting requires a support system that is both sturdy and easy to carry and, let’s face it—carrying 50 pounds of tripod to remote locations is just no fun. BUSHMAN panoramic takes on this challenge with its Amarula VR Carbon Fiber Tripod, along with other accessories. Weighing less than two and a half pounds, yet capable of supporting 26.5 pounds, the Amarula is easy to carry, set up, has a maximum height of nearly 5 feet, and is sturdy in the field. Plus, included foot spikes increase your traction in soft ground. Twist locks and independent leg spread make for fast setup and breakdown, and a built-in weight hook allows you to add more weight easily, should you need more stability. When you need more height, the COREPOLE VR and CORELITE VR extendable carbon fiber poles will do the trick. The two poles are complementary: the COREPOLE is longer, it extends to more than six feet in height, while the CORLETE extends to just under three feet. Other than height, the two poles are the same, featuring hollow construction that is lightweight and rigid, yet it allows you to pass a cable through the center of the pole. You can use either to replace the center column of your Amarula tripod, or you can mount them on 3/8"-16 threaded supports or even accessory legs to create a freestanding VR pole when you need to add weight to your BUSHMAN monopod, or set it up on a magnetic surface.

When you wish to mount a BUSHMAN monopod on a magnetic surface, the Popeye Magnetic Base fills the bill. Requiring 99 pounds of pull strength to remove it, and covered in a black rubber coating to protect the surface of what you are sticking it to, the base incorporates a ¼"-20 threaded stud for mounting an expansive variety of accessories and cameras. If your monopd is too light and you need to add some weight, then the Monopod Counterweight is just what you are looking for, with a threaded male ¼"-20 stud on one end, and a threaded female on the other, you can place this weight at either end of your monopod, or stack them together for greater weight. Rounding out this list of useful BUSHMAN items is the Male Adapter, which threads into a female 3/8"-16 hole and makes it threaded stud, either 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16.
